It all begins with an idea.

Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Meet the Team

  • Farida Rafique

    FOUNDER

A Los Angeles-based Producer/Impact Producer and Filmmaker, draws inspiration from her years in refugee support work. Early in her career, she interned in film development as a screenplay reader in horror and thriller. She worked in television development before she moved on to social impact storytelling.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Management from California State University.

Her passion for storytelling is deeply intertwined with her commitment to Human Rights advocacy and community building. Farida has produced impactful videos and art installations, including "Love Letters to an Addict" (focused on Recovery and Hope for Opioid Addicts), micro-documentaries for the Human Rights Initiative, and co-production of a documentary addressing the Family Separation Crisis on the Texas-Mexico border.

Her short film, "Ojo," explores a son's journey as he confronts his family's hidden history of white supremacy upon his mother's passing.

In the realm of narrative filmmaking, Farida has been instrumental in producing impact campaigns for writer/director-led projects such as "Moon," "Bienvenidos a Los Angeles," and "The Magic Ticket." Farida's commitment to social impact led her to participate in Film North's Socially Conscious Filmmaking Lab ('20) and Women in Media's Camaraderie Accelerator ('21).

Farida is driven by her passion for activating communities and harnessing the power of storytelling for change. Stories of resilience inspire her and are foundational to work in film development, community screenings, and podcasting.

During her downtime, you can find her exploring antique shops, relishing the outdoors, practicing yin yoga, tinkering in her test kitchen, or curled up with her rescue fur babies, Annie and Joey.
